PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solvent for a conductive paste that is for the manufacture of a ceramic laminate free of a phenomenon called delamination by a sheet attack phenomenon and free of electrical characteristic deterioration in the manufacture of a multilayer ceramic electronic component. SOLUTION: The conductive paste for use in the manufacture of a multilayer ceramic component contains as the solvent component a bornane skeleton containing carboxylic acid adduct represented by formula 1.
