PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a ventilation device by a circuit breaker for protecting the ventilation device from abnormal current to do away with necessity to separately install a sensor or a controller, to automatically set an operation time of the ventilation device by the circuit breaker to do away with troublesome setting, and to prevent impairing of appearance of a room. SOLUTION: In the circuit breaker 1 wherein the ventilation device 4 is connected to a load circuit, current consumption of the ventilation device 4 is detected by a current transformer 8 wherein a main electric circuit 6 is penetrated, a time for operating the ventilation device 4 is set from the detected current consumption, and a relay circuit 14 is driven on the basis of the set operation time to operate the ventilation device 4.
