PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof construction having excellent waterproofness which can be applied to the construction of waterproof floor, wall or ceiling without using waterproof pans. SOLUTION: A supporting structure 1 is installed on a concrete floor F through a supporting bolt 2. A plurality of floor panels 3 are laid on the supporting structure 1 with the end faces butted together. A pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape 4 is adhered to the top of the floor panel 3 along a predetermined seam line between waterproof sheets 6; a reinforcing net 5 is overlapped on the pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape 4; waterproof sheets 6 are laid on the floor panel 3; edge portions of the above are laid on the pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape 4 having a reinforcing net 5; and the waterproof sheets 6 are pressed down. Backing board 7 for tile work comprising the waterproof sheets 6 such as cement boards are laid on the waterproof sheets 6; and tiles 8 are adhered to the top of the backing board 7 with an adhesive and then joints 9 are filled.
