PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pull-in device for a sliding door, which can reduce an operating physical force in the opening of the sash of the sliding door. SOLUTION: The pull-in device for a sliding door comprises a device body and an operation member 70. The device body comprises: a guide rail part 1; a pull-in member 31; an urging member 39 for pulling in the sliding door; a damper; and a catch member 50 which is rotated in the state of being engaged with the operation member by the movement of the sash in the closing direction, which makes the pull-in member movable by moving a guide roller, engaged with a recess 24 of the guide rail part, to an inclined part 22, which can be moved with the operation member in the state of being engaged with the operation member, which can maintain the state of engagement with the operation member by moving the guide roller from the inclined part to a linear part 21, which is rotated by moving the guide roller from the inclined part to the recess by the movement of the sash in the closing direction and disengaged from the operation member, and which makes the guide roller engaged with the recess, so as to make the pull-in member immovable.
