PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing trap of knot and fold type that is readily manufactured, has a simple structure, is easily used and is firm. SOLUTION: The fishing trap comprises an upper ring (11), a lower ring (12) and a plurality of supporting rods (13-a1 to 13-a6) each having both ends connected through a knot folding device (30A) to the upper ring (11) and the lower ring (12). The knot folding device (30A) has a plurality of brackets (31) connected to the upper ring (11) and the lower ring (12), both the ends of the plurality of the supporting rods (13-a1 to 13-a6) are connected to the brackets (31) with pins (33), respectively, the plurality of the supporting rods (13-a1 to 13-a6) are rotated in both directions or in one direction and one supporting rod (13-a3) selected from the plurality of the supporting rods (13-a1 to 13-a6) is rotated in a cylindrical direction.
