PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower, restraining the generation of large noise while sufficiently sucking the air. SOLUTION: This blower includes: an intake case 4 fitted to an air intake port 8 of a casing 3 storing a fan 2 driven in rotation and provided with an inside air introduction port 11 and an outside air introduction port 12 respectively communicating with the air intake port 8; and a switching door 20 in which a plate-like closed part 23 is formed integrally with a rotating shaft 21 by a connecting part 22 provided at both ends of the closed part 23, which is rotatably disposed in the interior of the intake case 4 so that the inside air introduction port 11 is fully opened at one end of a rotary area and also the outside air introduction port 12 is totally closed by the closed part 23, and so that the inside air introduction port 11 is totally closed at the other end of the rotary area and also the outside air introduction port 12 is fully opened. In the blower, at least one side 22a of the connecting part 22 is provided with a ventilating hole 25 penetrating in the board thickness direction and a region of the intake case 4 opposite to the ventilating hole 25 is provided with a turning part 27 for guiding the air to the air intake port 8.
