The invention relates to a profile rail for a separation element which is used to remove particles or liquids from a gas flow, comprising deflection surfaces which are curved in a transversal manner in relation to the longitudinal direction of the profile rails, whereon the gas flow, which is to be purified, flows along by deflecting the flow direction thereof in a transversal manner in relation to the longitudinal direction of the profile rails. According to the invention, the deflection surfaces comprise channel-shaped recesses which extend in the longitudinal direction and in a parallel manner in relation to each other in order to improve the effectiveness of the separation of said profile rod. |
