The invention relates to a coffee machine with a housing inside of which an electrically operated pump (32) is housed. This pump (32) is held by a pump holding device (56, 58), which is fastened to the housing and which has elastic means. The aim of the invention is to minimize oscillations and vibrations during the operation of the electric pump (32). To this end, the invention provides that the pump holding device has fastening points (60), via which it is joined to the housing, and has a suspension device (62), inside of which the pump is suspended from above. A vibration-damping material is provided between the suspension device and the fastening points. The invention also relates to a pump holding device for a coffee machine.
