A semiconductor device includes a CAM cell array (4) for storing operation setting information on a semiconductor device (1) and configuration having a controller (8), a row decoder (5), and a column decoder (6) for controlling read-out and write-in of the CAM cell array and assigning a different row address for each function block having different operation setting information. Since a different row address is assigned for each function of the operation setting information, no stress is given to the CAM cell array (4) of the function not selected during programming.
