The handle (10) is attached to a holder (18) on the motor cycle through a fixing section (12) and has a grip section for the rider which can be extended by an adjustable extension element (16). The grip section can be integral with the fixing section and the extension element is mounted displaceable on same through a dovetailed connection. The grip section is roughly the length of two fingers.
