The support system has a foot element (3a) for connecting with the roof understructure and a support element (4a) for receiving a truss(5). The foot element stands in the deep swages (13) of the profiled sheeting (8) and is fixable to the roof girders(6) A supporting prop (2a) extends between the foot element and support element and is connected to both. An adapter between the support element and support structure allows the support structure to turn about the vertical axis relative to the prop.
