<p>It is intended to provide a method of quantifying/detecting a microorganism whereby a microorganism in a viable state can be highly sensitively and more adequately detected. Namely, a method of quantifying a target microorganism by using the amount of an rRNA of the target microorganism in a test sample as an indication.</p>
