<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output method and a device that can input sight line information about a user without using a wearable unit and change the display area of an output image according to the input sight line information. <P>SOLUTION: Two cameras 31 and 32 positioned in the horizontal direction of a display device pick up face images of a user, and an image processing part 40 detects the user's sight line direction according to picked-up right and left and detects the position of user's attention on a display screen 50 according to the sight line direction.
