摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery with excellent battery performance under a high-temperature environment. <P>SOLUTION: Fluorination treatment is given to a material expressed by: Li<SB>x</SB>Ni<SB>a</SB>Mn<SB>b</SB>Co<SB>c</SB>O<SB>z</SB>(0<x&le;1.3, 0<a<1, 0<b<0.6, 0<c<1, a+b+c=1, 1.7&le;z&le;2.3) to impart a fluoride on the surface of a positive pole active substance, whereby battery performance is improved at a high-temperature environment.
