<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a food preserved at normal temperatures in which a starchy food having a lower water content than that of a liquid material having a high water content is received in a container in a state contacting with the liquid material, whereby the transfer of water from the liquid material to the starchy food is controlled to improve the texture and appearance of the food. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for producing the food preserved at normal temperatures the starchy food is thermally sterilized, the sterilized food with a separately thermally sterilized seasoning is packed in a container in a clean room, and then the packed food is subjected to a refrigeration treatment, wherein the starchy food is selected from the group consisting of cooked rice, pasta, noodle and rice case. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
