PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform safely access authentication using biometric information without registering the biometric information into a host apparatus of the side of the authentication beforehand. SOLUTION: A printer 200 enciphers a code for authentication based on the biometric information received from a camera 10, and transmits it to the camera 10. The code for the authentication is decrypted by the camera 10 based on the biometric information read again, and the code for the authentication decrypted by the camera 10 and the original code for the authentication perform the authentication on the condition whether it falls on or not.
