PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel and a liquid crystal display device in which liquid crystal injection time is reduced, a frame is also narrowed, and wiring and a peripheral drive circuit are hardly damaged. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel has: a driving substrate 1 and a counter substrate 2 disposed parallel to each other via a sealing member 3 in which a liquid crystal injection port 10 is provided; and a liquid crystal layer encapsulated between the two substrates, wherein aperture parts 28a to 28d are provided at a part formed on the periphery of a pixel region 5 of a flattened film formed on the surface of the driving substrate 1 and an alignment layer 9 is so formed that at least a part of the peripheral edge part thereof is positioned in the aperture parts 28a to 28d.
