<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve stable restart without using a regenerative motor and receiving influence of reduction of precision due to difference in individual and deterioration with age when restarting an engine after idle stop. <P>SOLUTION: This controller for the automatic transmission is provided with a torque converter, an oil pump driven by the engine, a start clutch using the oil pump as an oil pressure source and engaged by engaging pressure when a vehicle starts, an engaging pressure control means for controlling engaging pressure when the start clutch is shifted from a release condition to an engaging condition, and an idle stop control means for stopping the engine when the vehicle stops and predetermined conditions are satisfied and restarting the engine when predetermined conditions are not satisfied. An engaging control means learns and compensates engaging pressure of the start clutch in accordance with start situation at creep time when restarting the engine by the idle stop control means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
