PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which allows the flicker adjustment to be carried out while the display screen is viewed at a free position without needing the adjustment work by changing the flicker adjustment volume in the liquid crystal display device, thereby facilitating the adjustment work and shortening the adjustment time. SOLUTION: An up/down key 51 is provided to a remote control 5 for the flicker adjustment. A control signal is sent out by the operation of the up/down key 51 and received at a remote control receiving part 18. A flicker voltage control signal is sent out from a microcomputer 16 according to the detected control signal. In response to the flicker voltage control signal, a flicker adjustment voltage is generated at a counter electrode voltage control part 6, and the flicker adjustment of the liquid crystal display 3 is carried out by a remote operation according to the control signal outputted in response to the operation of the up/down key 51.
