PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform optimum image processing corresponding to picked-up scene relative to picked-up image data without causing information losses of picked-up image information which is obtained by an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 100 generates scene reference raw data relying on the characteristic of the imaging apparatus by picking up an image. An apparatus characteristic correcting data generator 13 generates correcting data to be required in imaging apparatus characteristic correcting processing in order to generate scene reference image data which is obtained by standardizing the scene reference raw data. A reduction raw data generator 21 generates reduction raw data obtained by reducing the image size of the scene reference raw data. A picked-up information data generator 12 generates picked-up information data which indicates imaging condition setting in picking up the image. A header information processor 8 generates an attached data file by attaching the correcting data, the reduction raw data, and the picked-up information data to the scene reference raw data.
