PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an optimum viewed image in accordance with a photographing scene without causing information losses of picked-up image information. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 51 performs photographing to generate scene reference raw data. An apparatus characteristic correction information processing part 10 generates imaging apparatus characteristic correction data, and a photographing information data processing part 9 generates photographing information data. A scene discrimination index data generating part 12 generates scene discrimination index data that quantitatively shows a light source condition and an exposure condition. The imaging apparatus characteristic correction data, the photographing information data and the scene discrimination index data are attached to a file header of the scene reference raw data as tag information, and the attached data file is recorded and stored in a recording medium of a storage device 16.
