PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition of an electric discharge machining oil which can maintain both the machining performance and storage stability at a high level. SOLUTION: The composition of the electric discharge machining oil comprises a base oil consisting of at least one oil selected from a mineral oil and a synthetic oil, and a polymer compound having an ester group which is bound to a main chain formed of a hydrocarbon skeleton and part of a carbon atom constituting the main chain.
