PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make printing on a conveying belt and the real-time detection of nondischarge not to be susceptible to a "flaw, a stain and dust" on the surface of the conveying belt in a full multi-inkjet printer. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device 1 comprises a single or a plurality of full-line inkjet recording heads having a recording element array corresponding to the width of a recording medium, and is equipped with a conveying means to convey the recording mediums, a means to print a nondischarge detection chart sufficiently longer than a flaw, a stain or dust on the surface of the conveying means and a chart to detect nondischarge of the recording heads on the conveying means, a reading means to read the detection chart recorded on the surface of the conveying means, and a means to detect nondischarge of nozzles of the recording heads on the basis of read data.
