PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom finder device capable of preventing the occurrence of image shake in advance without providing a separate component for preventing the occurrence of the image shake. SOLUTION: In the zoom finder device which varies the magnification of a finder optical system interlocked with the rotation of a drive ring 24 for driving a zoom lens barrel, an interlocking member 60 driven by a cam groove 24c provided on the outer surface of the drive ring 24 is driven, so that a cam plate 41 varying the magnification of the finder optical system is driven by the interlocking member 60. The cam groove 24c formed on the outer surface of the drive ring 24 is formed so that areas respectively corresponding to a WIDE end and a TELE end may be areas having no cam gradient (dead band area where the interlocking member 60 is not moved even when the drive ring 24 is rotated). Thus, the cam plate 41 driven by the interlocking member 60 is prevented from moving to a position exceeding the WIDE end or a position exceeding the TELE end. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
