PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifungal agent that is obtained from a natural product, has no specific fragrance and has a wide application range, particularly an antifungal agent effective against Cladosporium cladosporioides. SOLUTION: The antifungal agent effective against Cladosporium cladosporioides comprises as an effective ingredient kakuol and/or methylkakuol represented by formula (1) (wherein R is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group).
