A particle coating chamber (1) for e.g. elongated rectangular bodies has an incoming particle jet that is guided on its inward route by a first wall (3) and is then distributed by an ovoid swing cam (6) on a longitudinal pivot (7). The particle outlet gap between the swing cam ovoid tip and outlet guide wall (3) is variable by cam deflection, while closing the interface between the oval cylinder and flow return guide wall. The incoming fluidization gas drives rotary particle motion within the fluidization main coating chamber. The ovoid cylinder (5) has at least one flat zone which can form a gap between the cylinder surface and return flow guide wall. The cylinder is longer than the chamber and is slide-mounted within the chamber.
