A disposable wearing article in which the external genitalia of a wearer can be prevented from being contaminated with excrement. The wearing article (10) includes a flexible chassis (11) and a semi-rigid absorber (16) arranged on the inner surface of the chassis (11), wherein a liner (17) constituting an innermost layer (11a) of the chassis (11) is joined to the absorber (16), at a securing part (19) located in the side leg area (13). The wearing article (10) further has a passage (26) for allowing excrement to pass through, the passage (26) being formed closer to the rear waist periphery region (14) than the securing part (19), a first elastic member (27) arranged along the peripheral edge of the passage (26) so as to be stretchable and contractable, and a pair of second and third elastic members (28, 29) arranged on both sides in the width direction of the passage (26) and stretchable and contractable in the length direction in the vicinity of the passage (26).
