A medical procedure tool equipped with: a flexible linear material (66) for carrying out a specific procedure to a biological tissue; a linear material holding member (51) provided covering the linear material (66) in a freely advancing and retracting manner, for holding the linear material (66); a flexible first sheath (52) provided so as to come into contact with the base end side of the linear material holding member (51); a flexible second sheath (53) provided so as to be freely advancing and retracting with respect to the first sheath (52) and the linear material holding member (51); an operator (54) for advancing and retracting manipulation of the second sheath (53); and a cutting means (55) for cutting the linear material (66); wherein
the cutting means (55) is provided with a first cutting part (56) provided to the linear material holding member (51); and a second cutting part (57) that is provided to the front end of the second sheath (52) and which, together with the first cutting part (56), grips the linear material (66) therebetween; and
one of either the first cutting part (56) or the second cutting part (57) is a blade member (57a).
