An opening edge (11) of an upstream-side exhaust pipe (1) and an opening edge (21) of a downstream-side exhaust pipe (2) opposed to the opening edge (11) of the upstream-side exhaust pipe (1) are bent radially outward and thereafter radially inward by molding to form a circumference of the upstream-side exhaust pipe (1) and a circumference of the downstream-side exhaust pipe (2) as a flange portion (12, 22) respectively. After both flange portions (12, 22) are butted to each other through a gasket (31) disposed therebetween, they are mechanically coupled to each other with a bolt (41) and a nut (42).
