Storage management system and operating method for such a storage management system

The system has a stock yard (1) in the form of a pallet or box. The stock yard is provided with several goods of same kind and quality. Goods that are supplied to the stock yard by a number of suppliers are stored in a common warehouse location. The goods of same type physically remain in a same place till the goods leave the warehouse. A warehouse number is entered for the goods by utilizing a magnetic bar code. An independent claim is also included for a method of operating a warehousing system.
