摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell separator capable of allowing a fuel cell to efficiently generate power. SOLUTION: The air flows between manifolds 1a, 1b through a channel 25 formed on the separator 20. The channel 25 is snaked in an S-shape in a state that an upstream side of high oxygen density and a downstream side of low oxygen density are adjacent to each other. A rib 20b determining the outline of the channel 25 is porous and has oxygen permeability. Accordingly, the oxygen is diffused from the upstream side of high density to the downstream side, and the density of oxygen supplied to the diffusion layer 23 is leveled. The rib 20b has a capillary 26, so that the liquefied water is moved from a wetted side to a dried side. The density of hydrogen is leveled through by a similar channel at a rear face of the separator 20. According to this constitution of the fuel cell using the separator 20, as the water, oxygen and hydrogen are uniformly supplied over a reaction area, power can be efficiently generated.
