The system has an actuator control device (5) connected to motor control circuits (12``) of headlight actuators (1D, 1G). A comparator (52) compares current and preceding values of setting information stored in registers (50, 51) for controlling transmission of active setting information to the circuits when a difference is detected between the current and preceding values. A switch (54) limits voltage supply to the actuators.
