15 A sealing closure for use with a container includes a top wall, an annular skirt, and a resiliently flexible annular flange. The annular skirt extends downwardly from the top wall. The annular flange extends downwardly from the top wall and radially outwardly toward the annular skirt. One or more stop ribs can be provided extending downwardly from the top wall and radially inwardly from the annular skirt to limit upward deflection of the annular flange.
