There is disclosed an image processing apparatus in which a system control circuit ( 50 ) monitors the power source voltage when data write access to a recording medium ( 200 ) occurs, and cuts off power supply to an image display unit ( 28 ) when the power source voltage becomes smaller than a predetermined value L 2 , so as to reduce write errors of data to be written resulting from a power source voltage drop, a control method of the image processing apparatus, and a storage medium.
