The device has an optical measurement chamber with a sensor arrangement with a light source(s) and a receiver(s) in their own elongated housings with small window openings and a labyrinth system. The light source(s) and receiver(s) are arranged in the rear parts of their housings so that there is a relatively large distance between the window openings and the optical surfaces of the light source(s) and receiver(s) through which light passes.
