JOINT FITTING BETWEEN MEMBERS AND JOINT STRUCTURE AND JOINING METHOD OF UPPER AND LOWER FLOOR VERTICAL FRAME MEMBERS

A joining metal tool for members simply formed and capable of transmitting both the stresses of compressive and tensile forces, and a structure and a method for joining vertical frame members by using the joining metal tool (1). In the joining meal tool (1), connection hardware (7) with side open grooves which is disposed on the upper and lower story sides at an interval in the axial direction of a bolt (4) and fixed to vertical frame members (11) on stories are disposed on the one bolt (4) having a length allowing it to be vertically disposed over the vertical frame member on the upper story and the vertical frame member on the lower story. The bolt is detachably fitted to the side open grooves of the connection hardware (7) and the connection hardware (7) is formed to be fixed at positions in the longitudinal direction of the bolt (4). The connection hardware of the joining metal tool disposed on the upper and lower stories are brought into contact with the vertical side surfaces of the vertical frame members (11) on the stories and fixed by the fastener materials of drill screws (24) laterally driven over the connection hardware (7) and the vertical frame member (11).
