<p>The invention relates to a process for preparing melamine, wherein the NH 3- containing melamine melt coming out from a high pressure melamine reactor is depressurized in a fluidized bed reactor operating with NH 3 as circulating gas, possibly after the separation of the residual gases, aging and cooling the melt. The melt is cooled with solid melamine or with inert solid substances and is solidified. There is added cold, preferably liquid NH 3 to the circulating gas which possibly is previously purified by means of the cyclons and/or filters, thereby allowing the solid melamine separation therefrom.</p> |
