<p>The invention relates to a yarn twisting machine used for making colour effect yarns. The yarn twisting machine consists of a device (C) for twisting two yarns (6 and 7) axially unwound from two coils (5 and 8), a device (18) for tensioning the twisted yarns and a device (D) for winding the twisted yarns, the twisting device (C) having a vertical axle (1) whereon there is secured a coil (5) and which is passed through by an axial orifice (a) from one end to the other, through said orifice there passing a yarn (7) which is unwound from another coil (8) placed substantially axially under the first coil (5), the vertical shaft (1) rotating inside a bearing box (2) by means of two radial-axial bearings (9 and 10) and the axial immobilization and centring at the upper side of the coil (5) is carried out by means of a long screw (14) with left hand thread and it is screwed in on an adequately threaded cylindrical portion (j) of the vertical axle (1) and which is passed through by an orifice (e) coaxial with the axial orifice (a) of the vertical axle (1), the coil (5) being fixed on the vertical axle (1) by means of a coil support (13) which at the lower side rests and is centred on a taper portion (c) of the vertical axle (1) by means of a rotating piece (12).</p> |
