Switch having lockable operating rocker

A handheld electric percussion tool having a switch arranged in a grip handle which is steplessly adjusted via an operating rocker. The operating rocker is releasably lockable to an operating position. The operating rocker is positioned at a mounting end longitudinally displaced in elongate holes against a return spring and is provided with a hook which lockingly engages from behind, a cross pin of the grip handle, with the locking arrangement being designed to only be unlocked by a relative pressure force which prevents an unintentional release of the rocker when touched and the rocker is again releasable by subsequent automatic longitudinal displacement.
