A resin composition comprising as the essential components (A) a polyol, (B) a polyisocyanate, and (C) a silane coupling agent having an imidazole group, with the proviso that in the composition, the ratio of the number of isocyanate groups contained in the polyisocyanate (B) to the number of hydroxyl groups contained in the polyol (A) (i.e., NCO/OH ratio) is 0.6 to 4.0 and the weight ratio of {(A)+(B)} : (C) is 100:0.01 to 100:10. This composition is freed from the problems due to the use of a secondary amine as the catalyst in the reaction of polyol with polyisocyanate, e.g., disagreeable odor, and exhibits accelerated curing and improved tight adhesion to metals or inorganic or organic materials.
