<p>The invention relates to a semifinished product and to a process for manufacturing a sole and to a sole obtained thereby, which may be used in the wood industry, for manufacturing sports articles. According to the invention, the semifinished product comprises an adequately profiled body (1), which has a straight portion (a) of massive wood, and a frontal lamellar portion (b) shorter than the straight portion (a) and provided with longitudinal lamellae (c) between which there are introduced some plates (2) made of wood and stuck to them by an adhesive solution. The process for manufacturing a sole consists in subjecting the lamellar portion (b) and the straight portion (a) to a pressure force by a tracking roll in an adequate template (A) and then dried for 3 to 4 h, at the environment temperature, there being maintained the pressure force by means of the template. The resulting sole has a straight portion (a) made of massive wood, continuing with a straight lamellar portion (K) and a lamellar frontal portion (b) curved to a radius having a central angle of 90 ... 270 .</p> |
