Dehydrating support comprises an indicator (2) indicating saturation point on one side of the support. A transparent protection unit protects the saturation point indicator and forms a barrier to the humidity. The support is formed by a dehydrating material. The indicator is deposited on the support and contacts the support by utilizing a substrate permeable to the water vapor and receiving the indicator. An independent claim is also included for utilization of a dehydrating support for packaging of products sensible to the humidity.
