The method involves identifying a machine of a user on which a digital data is to be played. An executable file, comprising encrypted digital data, a java code for decrypting the encrypted data, a reading unit for reading the data in its format, and an identifier e.g. password, of the machine, is generated. The file is executed for restitution of the data in case of positive comparison between the identifier and the machine of the user. An independent claim is also included for an executable file for restituting a digital data to be played on a machine of a user.
