<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical path switching device capable of suppressing the down of a network by a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical path switching device, an optical connector 30 for an annular optical LAN system is provided between input and output side optical fiber cables 3 and node instruments 1, 2. The optical connector 30 is equipped with a movable body (switch body) 31 comprising a prism 36. The movable body 31 is arranged so as to be selectively switched into a first position (first condition) wherein the input and output side optical fiber cables 3 are optically connected to the node instruments 1, 2 or a second position (second condition), wherein the input side and output side optical fiber cables 3 are optically connected mutually so as to bypass the node instruments 1, 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
