<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel which can be driven at a high speed, and to which a uniform driving signal voltage can be supplied. <P>SOLUTION: The display area is divided into at least three or more areas, and an address electrode located in each area is divided into groups. Each electrode group is supplied with a driving signal from different data drivers, allowing for the driving at a high speed during the address period.
