MANUFACTURING METHOD OF RECLOSABLE PACKAGE HAVING SLIDER-OPERATED STRING ZIPPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to manufacture a reclosable package having a slider-operated string zipper by a bag-forming-packing-sealing machine. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a reclosable package having a slider-operated string zipper comprises the following steps: a step of providing an elongated web of packaging film having first and second edges that are substantially mutually parallel; a step of joining backs of first and second flangeless zipper strips to the web along the first and second band-shaped zones that are substantially parallel to the first and second edges; a step of folding the web to form a first folded side and a second folded side interconnected by a folded section; a step of joining the first and second folded sides to each other along lines substantially transverse to the first and second flangeless zipper strips and spaced at regular intervals to form cross seals with pockets therebetween; a step of loading product into each pocket; and a step of inserting sliders at spaced intervals along the first and second flangeless zipper strips, one slider per pocket.
