PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control device for a vehicle capable of reflecting a delay in a steering actuator caused by an inputted load and further capable of realizing an application of a steering reaction force corresponding to its original steering state. SOLUTION: This steering control device for a vehicle comprises a front wheel steering angle estimation model block 107 for estimating a front wheel steering angle in response to a desired steering angleθ<SB>h</SB>and a response characteristic of a front wheel steering actuator 102, a steering angle sensor for detecting an actual front wheel steering angleθ<SB>p</SB>, and a steering reaction force correcting means (a gain block 112 and adding block 114) for the more correcting the desired steering reaction force F, the larger the difference between an estimated steering angleθ<SB>t</SB>and the actual front wheel steering angleθ<SB>p</SB>is.
