PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial cable in which copper induced degradation caused by contact of an insulating body and a copper conductive body can be prevented. SOLUTION: In the coaxial cable 10 composed of an internal conductor 11 of the center, the insulator 12 of polypropylene or a polypropylene based resin (its polymer, resin composition containing polypropylene, or these foamed body), an external conductor 13, and a sheath 14, because a copper inhibiting layer is made to be interposed at least between the internal conductor 11 and the insulator 12, and between the insulator 12 and the external conductor 13, basically the insulator and a copper conductor is separated by the copper inhibiting layer, and a superior copper inhibiting effect can be obtained.
