PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a bobbin-less coil by a minimum number of components and minimum man days. SOLUTION: A wire 65 is wound on a cylinder 62 of a bobbin 64 having the cylinder 62 and a pair of flanges 63, and a coil cover 47 is molded so as to cover at least the wire 65 exposed to the outer peripheral surface of the bobbin 64. Thereafter, the cylinder 62 of the bobbin 64 is melted or cut to be removed. Thus, while eliminating the cylinder 62 of the bobbin 64 and a tape with an adhesive layer to reduce the number of components and costs, the wire 65 is prevented from getting loose. Furthermore, the inner diameter of the bobbin-less coil 46 is reduced for the portion of abolishing the cylinder 62 of the bobbin 64 to reduce resistance and inductance to improve current responsibility.
