PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power relay having a structure in which even when metal vapor powders or the like generated at occurrence of arc scatters and falls out, short circuit of fixed terminals and deterioration of insulation of an insulating base hardly occur. SOLUTION: The power relay R comprises a yoke 2 winding a switching-on coil, an operating member 3 which makes reciprocating movement between an open position and a closed position by a magnetic flux generated in a yoke 2 by changing current flow to the switching-on coil 6, a control contact 4 which contacts and separates a movable contact 42 from a fixed contact 41 at the time of movement of this operating member 3 to the open position and caries out opening and closing of the current, an insulating base 1 to mount the whole of them, and an insulating cover 5 to cover the whole from the upper part of the insulating base 1, and each of the leg part of a first fixed terminal T1 and a second fixed terminal T2 protrudes from the insulating base 1.
